In 2023, Melanie completed the Education for Ministry (EfM) Program through the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee, a respected theological education and faith formation program designed to support spiritual growth, reflection, and discernment.

Her role is to create a supportive, respectful environment where clients can listen deeply, reflect honestly, and explore how faith informs the next steps of their journey.

Pure Renewal Bodywork and Massage Therapy

Jin Shin Jytsu, a Japanese healing art allowing your body to find balance and harmony.    A non-invasive, hands on approach to manual therapy focusing on the spherical energy locks in the body (26 different points) encouraging flow of movement.  Based on the teachings from Mary Burmeister.

Jin Shin Jyutsu

Myofascial Release/Myoskeletal Therapy a comprehensive treatment approach to pain reduction. (Myofascial Release, Myofascial Freedom of Movement, Myofascial Unwinding).  Non-invasive, hands on approach to manual therapy (no oil is utilized) focusing on the soft tissue found under the skin.  It can be defined as a stretching technique, releasing restricted tissue which impedes efficient movement.  Is a safe technique which prevents over stretching of the soft tissues of the body.  Treatments are directed by the information gained from Clients, verbally and nonverbally (through touch). It’s a developed  technique to see under the skin by understanding the feedback of muscles through our hands/touch.   A philosophy of care rather than a series of techniques.

This service may be experienced as either relaxing or therapeutic, depending on your individual goals and preferences. Sessions are tailored to support your desired outcomes while remaining within a gentle, relaxation-focused approach. Deep tissue techniques are not offered as part of this service.

Swedish massage techniques are utilized with jojoba oil and smooth, flowing strokes designed to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, and support overall well-being. Pressure is firm yet gentle, creating a calming experience that encourages both physical and mental relaxation.

Whether your goal is stress reduction, relief from everyday muscle tension, or simply taking time to restore and recharge, this session is designed around your needs.

Optional hot stone enhancement is available upon request. Please notify your therapist when confirming your appointment if you would like hot stones incorporated into your session.

This service is intended for those that may be experiencing feet or lower leg tightness, lack of ease of movement or is just looking for therapeutic intervention for improvement of well-being. - Raindrop Therapy is inspired by Native American wellness traditions.  A Collection of essential oils that are applied to neck, back, and feet.
