This combo allows for you to choose therapeutic bodywork - followed by a Wellness Skills Lab following a Habit Changing Approach.

Wellness 360 Transformation

Jin Shin Jytsu, a Japanese healing art allowing your body to find balance and harmony.    A non-invasive, hands on approach to manual therapy focusing on the spherical energy locks in the body (26 different points) encouraging flow of movement.  Based on the teachings from Mary Burmeister.

Jin Shin Jyutsu

The original hot and cold stone massage.  A contemporary approach using heated stones (and sometimes alternating with chilled stones) to  bring balance to the body at all levels.  Non-invasive, gentle, warming (or cooling), relaxing massage.  Goes beyond typical massages allowing for greater relaxation, health and well-being.  Potential of this treatment goes beyond measure. LaStone Therapy

Myofascial Release/Myoskeletal Therapy a comprehensive treatment approach to pain reduction. (Myofascial Release, Myofascial Freedom of Movement, Myofascial Unwinding).  Non-invasive, hands on approach to manual therapy (no oil is utilized) focusing on the soft tissue found under the skin.  It can be defined as a stretching technique, releasing restricted tissue which impedes efficient movement.  Is a safe technique which prevents over stretching of the soft tissues of the body.  Treatments are directed by the information gained from Clients, verbally and nonverbally (through touch). It’s a developed  technique to see under the skin by understanding the feedback of muscles through our hands/touch.   A philosophy of care rather than a series of techniques.

MFR/Myoskeletal Therapy

At this time Melanie’s Studio is no longer offering online booking for this service group.  Please call the office if you have further questions. This is a pre-authorized category of service for those that have preapproved benefits for massage therapy through myVACCN.  You must have an active and approved myVACCN authorization to schedule appointments under this menu option - please do not book beyond your authorization service dates.   Medical Massage. This membership allows you to select one service of choice (Classic Massage, Myofascial Release/JSJ or Raindrop Therapy) each month. This membership is a monthly subscription service. 

This membership is an introductory offer and requires a credit card on file which will be billed monthly for a 12 month period.  Future bookings allows you to choose from one of the following approved services:  Classic Massage, Myofascial Relase/JSJ or Raindrop Therapy. 


Below are the descriptions of the approved services for this membership.  

Classic Massage (45 minute session):   This service can be relaxing or therapeutic (no deep tissue option) Approach will be based on your goals.  Swedish Massage Techniques utilized with the assist of massage oil  (jojoba oil) and smooth, gliding strokes. Swedish based massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits. It is a classic massage that will ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation.   If desired optional hot stones available (please notify therapist upon confirmation for hot stone request).    

Myofascial Release/JSJ Therapies  (60 minute session):  Myofascial Release/Myoskeletal Therapy a comprehensive treatment approach to pain reduction. Raindrop Technique (60 minute session):  Raindrop Therapy is inspired by Native American wellness traditions.  A Collection of essential oils that are applied to neck, back, and feet. Others have said the Raindrop Technique has been known to bring balance and harmony to the body.  The aromas creating an atmosphere of spirituality and serenity. Book yours today.
